LW RF STUDIO - END-USER LICENCE AGREEMENT

Copyright (c) 2026 Wattlet AS, Gudbrandsdalsvegen 194, 2619 Lillehammer, Norway
(organisation number 920 951 368). All rights reserved.

This agreement is between you (the person or the organisation installing the
software) and Wattlet AS ("we"). By installing or using LW RF Studio, including
PCB Antenna Lab, SmithMatch and the KiCad plugin LW Antenna Check (the
"Software"), you accept this agreement. If you do not accept it, do not install
or use the Software.

The terms of sale at https://lwtech.org/terms apply to the purchase of a
licence and go together with this agreement. If they differ from this text for
a purchase, the terms of sale apply.

1. Licence
A licence gives one person the right to use the full version of the
Software on the PC it is issued for (its PC ID), for the period shown on the
order, or without end for a perpetual licence, for designing and simulating
antennas in your own work. The Student licence is for students, academics
and hobbyists, for non-commercial use only. A licence cannot be shared or
used on several PCs at the same time.

2. Free trial
The Software includes a 30-day trial of the full version, counted from the
first start on a PC. When the trial ends, the Software needs a licence to
run. The trial is given once for each PC ID.

3. New PC
When you replace your PC or reinstall Windows, the PC ID changes. Send us
the new PC ID (https://lwtech.org/contact) and we move the licence to it,
   free of charge.

4. Restrictions
You may not copy (except for backup), distribute, rent, lease, sublicense or
sell the Software, nor modify, decompile or reverse-engineer it, nor work
around the licence check, except as allowed by mandatory law.

5. Ownership
The Software is licensed, not sold. Wattlet AS keeps all rights, title and
interest in it. Designs and results you create with the Software are yours.

6. Third-party components and openEMS
The Software contains third-party components under their own licences,
   listed in THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt and in the third-party-licenses folder;
those licences take precedence for those components. The simulation engine
openEMS is not part of the Software: you install it separately and it is
licensed to you by its authors under the GNU General Public License v3.

7. No warranty, check your designs
The Software is a simulation and design aid. Simulation results are
estimates: check every design by measurement before production. The
Software is provided "as is", within the limits of mandatory consumer law,
which gives consumers rights that this agreement cannot take away. Fault
and complaint handling for a purchase is described in sections 9 and 10 of
   the terms of sale.

8. Limitation of liability
We are liable for loss of value of the Software only if a fault or defect is
shown, and not if it is due to circumstances outside our control that we
could not reasonably be expected to avoid or overcome. We are not liable for
indirect losses resulting from defects, unless the loss was caused by our
gross negligence or intent. For business customers, our liability is limited
to the price paid for the licence. In a consumer purchase this agreement
cannot be worse for you than the Norwegian consumer purchase act.

9. Termination
This licence ends if you breach this agreement. You must then stop using the
   Software and delete all copies.

10. Governing law
This agreement follows Norwegian law. If no agreement is reached in a
dispute, Oslo District Court (Oslo tingrett) is the venue. Consumers can
also complain to the Norwegian Consumer Council (www.forbrukerradet.no) or
use the EU online dispute resolution platform.
